This page is the central repository for help documents for the site. Rather than bombard the user with lots of information on the individual pages that they might not need, the help documents expand on that basic information. Click on the thumbnails to access the documents.
The registration and, particularly, the ratification processes have undergone significant changes in the last few years. The two processes share data so it makes sense that they are presented together. Thanks to Mike Tyrie (Member #2844) for writing this for us.
The guidance notes for contenders grew in size over the years until they became somewhat unwieldy. After a bit of consolidation the notes are now as compact as possible. They should be considered “minimum best practice”, there’s more guidance on the On the Day page, in particular the last three sections, though really none of those should need to be stated.
For a few years there has been a simple search facility capable of filtering the membership list. In late 2024 this was expanded quite significantly but as with any such update things became a little more complex.
Allied with the search is a charting feature which has its own set of options and configuration.
Aligned with the membership search, it became apparent that not everyone might want the same set of data to be used when displaying the results. So the user can now set up table columns according to their wishes.
The user options also include settings for how many rows to display in a table (pagination), chart colours and starter list spread.
